The official launch of the next-generation Skoda Octavia is scheduled for November 11th. There are still no factory photos and the first camouflage picture we came up with is a render.
It is most likely to be used in an online configurator, so, certainly, the final appearance of the new Skoda model is ahead.
In comparison to the outgoing, third generation, the fourth-generation Octavia looks a lot different, with an aesthetic that should associate us with the upper class. It's not a revolution at all, but progress certainly is.
All in all, the drawings that have been released do not reveal much, since the serial version of a car is usually not attractive as a render.
Since we do not have a photo of the back, it is certain that at least in terms of aesthetics it will resemble a drawing.
The premiere will take place immediately after the premiere of the Eighth Generation Golf, scheduled for October 24th. Both models are constructed on a common, upgraded MQB mechanical platform.
They will be powered by 1.0 and 1.5 petrol, as well as 1.6 and 2.0 diesel. Better versions will have all-wheel drive. The bodywork will continue to be a five-door liftback, and the wagon will come standard. Also, we expect RS as well as Scout versions.
