What kind of person are you if you make a lot of selfies

New research shows that people who often post selfies photos on social networks are lonely. The results of the latest study published in the Journal of Research in Personality, entitled "Check Your Selfie Before You Wreck Your Selfie," also showed this.

The study involved 119 students, whose job was to rate the Instagram profiles of 30 users, based on the last 30 posts.

Afterward, they evaluated the profile owners, based on 13 attributes, and rated those who frequently post selfies as non-dynamic lives and were not successful in the business they do, Komonews reported.

Also, they were rated as more lonely than those who post photos taken by others.

The researchers concluded that it didn't matter what else was in the photos, so those profiles that featured too many selfies taken at exotic destinations during activities that were otherwise considered attractive were the most criticized, and the most criticized were the photos they put Emphasis on physical fitness of users - such as selfies where users show muscle and other exercise results.
