These lakes are dangerous to humans

There are also lakes that not only attract attention because of their beauty but also because of the high risk and dangers they bring.
And these are some of them:

Lake Mono

This lake is located in California and is one of the oldest lakes in North America.

It originally contained saline with a rich ecosystem used to attract millions of birds feeding on salted shrimp.

Unfortunately, in 1941, a large drought occurred in the lake and at that time the water turned into a deadly toxic alkaline lake swarming with carbonate, chloride, and sulfate.

Ozarka Lake, Missouri

Lake Azaria has been named the most dangerous lake in the United States, and is the third water body in terms of dead, crossing the Atlantic Ocean and the Colorado River.

Several factors make this lake dangerous: elevated levels of coli Escherichia bacteria due to feces being thrown into the lake, lack of police, negligent dock installations, and boat racing and cruises.

About 50 deaths occur on this lake each year, and alcohol consumption is involved in 70 percent of cases.

Horsham Lake, California
It is located in the Mammoth Mountains Complex in Mono County, California.

Massive eruptions took place in this region every 5,000 years and were considered harmless until about 20 years ago when the trees around the lake suddenly began to die.

Scientists have concluded that the trees are suffocated by elevated levels of carbon dioxide emanating from underground chambers.

In 2006, three people took refuge in a nearby cave and died of high levels of carbon dioxide.
