She felt sick when she drunk a coffee made by her husband - look at what he did

A Michigan man recently received a surprisingly mild prison sentence after being found guilty of repeatedly throwing large doses of sleeping pills into a woman's coffee.

Therese Kozlowski requested a divorce from her husband in June 2018.

Her husband brewed her coffee every day and kept secretly injecting dangerous doses of diphenhydramine, an antihistamine used mainly to treat allergies and insomnia.

Of course, Theresa found out only after setting up hidden cameras around the house to see what Brian Kozlowski was doing. The shocking video, posted on social media, shows a man grinding several pills and throwing them into his wife's coffee.

Teresa as soon as she saw in the video Brahan mixing pills with coffee moved out and informed her lawyer about the divorce. Police were able to seize the last coffee he made for her and they discovered that it contained 127 milliliters of diphenhydramine, worth about eight tablets.

The woman said she became suspicious when she experienced strange symptoms after her husband's coffee, such as fatigue, nausea, and blurred vision.

Faced with overwhelming evidence of his crime, Brian pleaded no contest to drink poisoning charges, the maximum sentence in the U.S. state of Michigan being 15 years in prison. Instead, he sought excuses, such as the fact that he had a difficult time in his life when he made it.

Specifically, last Thursday, due to his wife's repeated poisoning, Brian Kozlovski was sentenced to five years of probation and 60 days in prison, which he can serve on weekends.
