You didn't learn and feel everything during your first pregnancy. You will see that it is a big difference to be pregnant the second time around. Even though you feel experienced, you could experience many surprises, both physical and mental.
During your first pregnancy, you probably spent a lot of time thinking about pregnancy and having a baby in your stomach. Now that you have a baby to worry about, you may not be able to commit to pregnancy for the first time.
This is completely normal and does not mean that you will love this childless. Mothers are often afraid of being able to give another child enough love. Don't worry, love is not a finite number, it is an endless supply of emotions.
The good side is that in the second pregnancy, you will feel your baby's movements much earlier. And there are many ways to ease and beautify another pregnancy. Here are some of them:
- Slow down - As difficult and unworkable as it may seem, it is extremely important to find time for relaxation. Now is not the time to take on the extra tasks.
- Eat quality - You have a lot to do with your baby that it is very easy to skip breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is especially difficult if, with child and pregnancy, you work or study. Take the time for a quality breakfast if you are away from home most days - bring a meal with you, and if you are at home with your child, include it in the preparation of daily meals.
- Take a break - If you are at home with your baby and he/she is still sleeping during the day, take advantage of it and get fit, no matter how much work is waiting for you. Or wait for your husband to return from work to take care of the baby while you rest.
It doesn't matter if you fall asleep, but it's important to lie down for at least half an hour a day and rest. If you find that you are sleeping too little, change your bedtime - let it be right after you put your baby to sleep.
- Save time - For example, go shopping with your baby, teach him or her to just save the bed and toys. Let it help you with small household chores - dusting, preparing and trimming the table (depending on your child's age), vacuuming. Cook twice as much and freeze the excess for another day.
- Ask for help - A friend may be happy to play with your child or take a walk. The spouse can buy groceries and grandmothers sometimes cook lunch. Remember, half an hour of rest a day works a miracle!
- Spend quality time with your older child - Don't forget moments like this when your baby is born - Take at least some time to read stories before bed.
