Most people enjoy information on how to reduce cleaning time while keeping a clean and tidy home.
But few are aware that there are things in the home that are simply cleaned too much, experts say.
1. Clothing - If you seem to spend a lot of time with your washing machine, you probably wash your clothes too often. Unless you have a really dirty job, sweat excessively or your food falls while you eat, you can wear most of your clothes more than once. Of course, exceptions are underwear, socks and workout clothes and anything else that is worn directly to the naked body. This should be washed after each use.
But imagine how much less work you would have had if every family member had not thrown a T-shirt after washing it just after wearing one. In doing so, you will save water, electricity and money, as well as laundry detergents.
2. Dirty dishes - If you rinse the plates and pots before putting them in the dishwasher, you are wasting time. Even after washing, such dishes will not be completely clean. Dishwasher tablets contain enzymes that are trapped in food particles and break down and destroy dirt.
If you rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, the enzymes have nothing to catch and simply fail. Consider the water you consume before rinsing. You can save at least 22,700 liters of water a year.
3. Chandeliers - Clean chandeliers give more light, but if you clean them from dust every week, it's time to slow down. You can clean them once a month, and that goes for fans.
Because of their size, blankets and blankets are a real hassle when it comes to washing. Therefore, if you do not have pets that sleep on them, you do not need to wash them weekly. Instead, you can wash them at the end of each season.
