Stop aging

If you seem older than you are, it might be time to think about your daily routines, because the foods you eat and the stress and sweetness add years to your face.

If you find that your to-do list is increasing rather than decreasing whatever you do, take a little breather because imposing a variety of commitments only creates more stress.

Chronic stress
Several studies have shown that chronic stress causes the release of free radicals, unstable molecules that damage cells and are responsible for aging.

And sweet can add years to your face. Inside the skin, sugar molecules bind to the protein fibers in each of our cells. This process, known as glycation, can result in loss of glow, skin tone, bloating, increase in fine lines and wrinkles, and loss of facial contours and increased pores.

Good protection
Even a skincare routine must include good protection against aging. The skin around the eyes is thinner than the skin on the rest of the face and shows age faster. If you moisturize the eye area, your face may look younger. The most effective eye creams contain retinol A, a form of vitamin A. Other important factors include emollients and moisturizers, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C.

Just walking in the sun can do more harm to your skin than a day at the beach, experts say. The first cause of premature aging is UV rays.
